"Participation in this contest implies acceptance of these Rules"
Not Just Online: JUDGMENT OF THE PHOTOS AT AN IMPORTANT EXHIBITION ROOM IN SPAIN
WHO CAN TAKE PART
1 – All Photographers of the world may take part in the contest, from any Country of any continent. No distinctions shall be made between professional and amateur photographers. The jury will not know the name or age of Photographer.
2 – There are no age limits. All Photographers younger than 18 years must have a written and signed authorisation by their parents, or legal tutor.
3 – Those photographers who are members of the jury or cooperate with the Ravel Association will not be allowed to participate.
4 - Photos will not be admitted if they won the first prize in other contests.
5 - Photos entirely created by computer, photomontages, photos with signatures or watermarks are not allowed.
6 - There is no time or date restriction on when the image was taken.
7 - THE NUMBER OF PLACES IS LIMITED to max 50 Photographers of each registered Nation, or Independent State. No other registrations will be accepted from Nations which already reached this number of contestants. This rule aims to allow enough time to evaluate all images in the best possible way, which would be impossible to do in the time frame available, if contestants are too many. This way, the Contest will be better manageable and will represent many different Nations. 50 Photographers of each registered Nation is the maximum number allowed.
8 - It is possible to submit a limited number of works: Photographers may participate in any of the 6 categories, even all of them or just one, with a total maximum of 40 Photos. With the first basic registration it is possible to register one Photo, or immediately more images, and further ones may be added until the 23 September 2018.
CATEGORIES
9 – Generally, almost all genres can be admitted to the competition, and the participation is not bound to the categories described below, since, in case of doubt, any photo can fall within the sixth category. The choice of the category is mainly associated with the opportunity of winning further prizes, in addition to the main ones, which will be assigned to the best photos of each category.
10 – If a photo is suitable for multiple categories, then the photographer may decide to include the same photo in various categories. However, the same photo presented in various categories shall be regarded as multiple photos, based on the number of photos that the participant has submitted. Upon the sending of each photo via e-mail, it is not mandatory to specify the relating category: but in this case, it will be impossible to receive the prizes for each single category and only the main ones can be awarded.
11 – All the categories can include colour, black and white or monochrome (characterised by the prevalence of a single colour) photos. For example, if the same photo is sent both in the colour and in the black and white version, it will be regarded as if they were two different photos, without any mutual connection.
The available categories are described below:
